Collector’s Card Studio
YOUR COLLECTION, ONE CARD AT A TIME

Every piece has a story.

Give yours a front, a back, and a place in the collection.

PASSWORD-ENCRYPTED BACKUP

Keep your originals private.

Save before closing. Your full serials and original photos stay in your protected master.

Protected saves reopen with your passphrase. Use Export & print for masked, shareable cards.

Pass the collection around.

One HTML file to open, edit and share again. Keep private masters separate.

Make it yours

Not saved
The full number is kept in this tab and password-encrypted backups. Shared exports contain only the masked version. Anyone using this unlocked tab can reveal it.
Research uses the masked serial. Leading digits can support dating; a range crossing a year boundary stays an estimate.
Switch cards in the gallery without losing edits in this tab. Save your gallery to a file before closing.

FROM YOUR COLLECTION TO THEIRS

Take your card with you.

Download a finished card to send, or print a pair to cut and fold. Nothing is published automatically.

Keep a protected master first.

Exports cannot restore your private originals. Save your password-encrypted gallery before sharing.

Share digitally

Make it physical

Letter or A4, portrait, 100% scale. Turn off headers and footers. Cut around each pair, then fold at the center or mount the sides back-to-back. This is not a duplex layout.

Want to edit it later? Use “Save protected card” or “Save protected gallery”, then reopen the downloaded file with its passphrase. Shared exports include the ownership information shown on the card; review it before sharing.

BEHIND THE INSTRUMENT

Find its story.

Search for serial-number estimates, model details, and maker history. Review the evidence, then choose what belongs on your card.

The full serial is not sent. To change it, close this panel and use the private serial field.
Open a manual web search ↗

Searching sends only these five identifying fields to the research service and uses credits. Photos, ownership information, and the rest of your gallery are not sent. Live research requires the connected preview backend.

No research yet. Add the identifying details above to begin.

Protect your private master

Encryption happens in your browser. The passphrase is not sent anywhere and cannot be recovered here. Keep the encrypted file and passphrase somewhere safe; share the masked card exports instead.

Protect serials in photographs

Private original shown here. Draw a rectangle over the serial engraving, label, or tag. Shared images flatten solid covers into the pixels; original photos remain only in your private master.

Add a cover with the keyboard

There is no automatic text detection. Check reflections, case labels, tags, and both sides. Masking does not prevent identification through other distinctive details.

A MARKET SNAPSHOT, NOT AN APPRAISAL

What could this instrument be worth?

Identify the exact instrument and its condition. We read comparable price pages, distinguish asking prices from verified sales, and build four condition scenarios.

Full serial never sent. Change it in the Front editor.

Uses AI credits under the same live-research model. Only this form and masked identifiers are sent, not your photos, owners or full serial. Shared visitors' searches also use the connected service.

Resale estimates are not professional appraisals, insurance replacement values or authentication. As-is means untested or requiring repair. “Fair” means substantial wear or service needs; “Good” means playable with normal wear; “Excellent” means excellent working and cosmetic condition. These are research scenarios, not an inspection of your instrument.

PUBLIC COPIES, PRIVATE ORIGINALS

Share a collection.

Choose the cards to include. The HTML file contains a complete offline studio, so someone can browse your cards, add their own and send a new file back. Nobody receives your private master or hidden serial digits.

A shared file is not encrypted.

Private serials are removed, and approved photo covers are flattened permanently. Titles, stories, captions and the selected research/value source notes remain visible. Recipients can edit and redistribute their copy; shared files cannot be recalled.

Send the downloaded HTML as an attachment or through a file-sharing service. Recipients should save it and open it in a browser; email and phone attachment previews may not run HTML apps. If HTML attachments are blocked, send the JSON collection and the studio separately. Large photo collections can be split into several files. Importing a collection into this studio reads its card data without running the imported file's scripts. Only open complete HTML apps from people you trust.
